Job Description

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization dedicated to Alzheimer's care, support, and research. With a mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia, the Association accelerates global research, promotes risk reduction and early detection, and maximizes quality care and support for those affected. Headquartered in the United States, the organization boasts a network of more than 1,750 employees making significant impacts every day for individuals living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and those at risk of developing the disease.

The Alzheimer's Association recently announced a historic $100 million investment in dementia research for 2023, signaling a robust commitment to breakthrough scientific advancements. The momentum fueled by this substantial investment reflects the organization's leadership in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. As a Best Place to Work for twelve consecutive years, the Alzheimer’s Association embraces diverse perspectives to achieve health equity, ensuring all communities receive fair and just opportunities for early diagnosis, risk reduction, and access to quality care and education. Their steadfast commitment also involves engaging underrepresented and underserved populations disproportionately affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.

Financial oversight of sponsor and donor fulfillment is also a critical responsibility to ensure accountability and successful fundraising outcomes.

This position requires an experienced professional with over five years of proven expertise in corporate fundraising, relationship building, and volunteer mobilization to meet ambitious goals. The candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, alongside strong organizational and analytical capabilities. Additional duties and opportunities for professional growth and self-improvement are integral aspects of the role.

The Alzheimer’s Association offers a competitive salary with a good-faith expectation of earning between $80,000 and $85,000 annually. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, holiday leaves, paid family leave, and a gold standard 401(k) retirement plan. Full-time staff also enjoy additional visitation and elder care days, an annual cultural and heritage day, and a volunteer day of their choosing.
