The role of Valet at ABM is a flexible floater position with varied hours and scheduled days each week. This position pays $17.34 per hour, reflecting experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. The Valet plays a crucial role in providing professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services. Ideal candidates are individuals just entering the workforce or those returning with limited experience and education. The role entails managing traffic flow efficiently, interacting warmly with guests, assisting with vehicle loading and unloading, collecting and securing guest keys, predicting and communicating traffic flow peaks, and ensuring smooth valet operations.
Valets must operate, park, and retrieve vehicles safely while abiding by all traffic laws and facility policies. They are also responsible for handling financial transactions accurately, including receiving payments, tallying tips, reconciling daily revenue, and managing cash supplies. Working conditions require the Valet to be outdoors in various climates for extended periods and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Job Duties
- Coordinate traffic flow
- Communicate valet procedure, information and directions clearly and effectively with guests
- Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries
- Monitor illegal parking and immediately store vehicles
- Interact with guests in a friendly manner
- Assist guests with loading and unloading
- Collect and secure guest keys
- Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
- Identify and arrange for extra support for extended wait times
- Accurately tally and split the tip pool
- Receive and receipt a variety of valet payments
- Accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
- Project currency and coin requirements and re-order as necessary
- Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies and applicable pedestrian regulations
- Work in an outdoor unprotected environment in all climates for extended periods of time
- Keep work area clean of debris
