Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in front desk or guest services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in the local language
  • Literacy and technology proficiency
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to move objects up to 50 lbs
  • Commitment to safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in front desk or guest services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in the local language
  • Literate and tech-savvy with basic math and computer skills
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs
  • Additional language skills are a plus
  • College or university degree is a bonus

Job Duties

  • Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone
  • Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Swiftly check guests in and out, take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes
  • Record and act on guests' preferences, handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns
  • Be a trusted contact for all guests, help with various issues and involve management when necessary
  • Follow safety procedures, report all incidents and wear protective gear when required
  • Maintain a professional appearance and act as a brand ambassador
  • Stay informed about daily events and activities
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties as needed
