Job Requirements

- Minimum one year of experience in front desk or guest services
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Fluency in the local language
- Literacy and technology proficiency
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to move objects up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to safety protocols
Job Qualifications

- Fluent in the local language
- Literate and tech-savvy with basic math and computer skills
- Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts
- Ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs
- Additional language skills are a plus
- College or university degree is a bonus
Job Duties
- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
- Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone
- Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Swiftly check guests in and out, take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes
- Record and act on guests' preferences, handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns
- Be a trusted contact for all guests, help with various issues and involve management when necessary
- Follow safety procedures, report all incidents and wear protective gear when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and act as a brand ambassador
- Stay informed about daily events and activities
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as needed
