Job Requirements
- Veterinary clinic experience of at least 1 year
- flexible schedule including availability some Saturdays
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- commitment to quality client service and patient care
- willingness to maintain hospital cleanliness and order
- ability to work full-time in person at the Glendale location
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in an animal hospital or professional animal-related environment such as shelter, pet store, day care, grooming or related field
- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong computer skills
- ability to educate clients effectively
- dedication to maintaining a positive work environment
Job Duties
- Greeting visitors and answering telephones
- scheduling and confirming appointments
- placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
- presenting and explaining fees including processing payments
- recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services including prescriptions
- answering questions regarding products and services including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
- managing medical records and correspondence
- maintaining hospital cleanliness including removal of animal waste
