Job Requirements
- Safe driver with valid driver’s license
- Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to walk long distances
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous auction experience preferred
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Duties
- Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner
- Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses while observing auction driving rules and rules of the road
- Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisors or team leaders
- Locate lost vehicles and move vehicles as necessary
- Assist with getting vehicles operating including inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles
- Notify supervisors when vehicles are inoperative or out of fuel
- Assist customers such as dealers, account representatives, and rental agencies
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures
- Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate
