As a Van Delivery Driver at Gordon Food Service Store, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely, courteous, and accurate deliveries of a wide range of products to customers on a variable daily route. The van delivery route involves locating and picking orders for wholesale customers, maintaining effective customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and punctual deliveries. In addition, drivers perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of their vehicles and equipment to promote safety and reliability. The in-store duties include accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale, maintaining the security of cash, checks, and merchandise, receiving and merchandising products with proper rotation and quality control, and organizing storage areas including freezers, coolers, and backrooms.

Physical capabilities are also essential as the position requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and use a two-wheel cart loaded with up to 350 pounds.
