As a Van Delivery Driver at Gordon Food Service Store, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional customer service by ensuring courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries along a variable daily route. The position demands professionalism in operating the delivery van, adherence to safety standards, and meticulous attention to detail both on the road and within the store. Delivery drivers will also perform pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicles and equipment to ensure operational safety. Inside the store, responsibilities encompass processing transactions securely, receiving and merchandising products while adhering to product rotation and quality standards, and managing product displays and storage areas to ensure proper organization.

This role requires at least one year of prior delivery driving experience accompanied by a year in customer service or a related field. Candidates must possess an unrestricted standard operator's license, a clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years, and be a minimum of 18 years old. Pre-employment checks including drug screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report review are mandatory. Physical requirements include the ability to use a two-wheel cart bearing loads up to 350 pounds and lift up to 70 pounds.
