We are currently seeking a full-time Lot Porter / Customer Service Specialist to become an integral part of our team. This role is vital in maintaining the organization and appearance of our vehicle inventory, assisting both the sales and service departments, and delivering a welcoming, friendly experience to all dealership visitors. The ideal candidate will be energetic, dependable, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Responsibilities include daily vehicle and lot management, ensuring all vehicles are safely parked, clean, and presentation-ready. The Lot Porter / Customer Service Specialist will also provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, directing customers to appropriate departments, and supporting customer vehicle transportation needs.

In addition, this position involves vehicle detailing and preparation, such as washing, vacuuming, and inspecting vehicles for cleanliness and presentation standards. The candidate will also support shuttle services by safely transporting customers to their destinations and maintaining professional conduct at all times. This role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically handle tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • Previous customer service, porter, valet, or automotive experience is a plus but not required
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Perform daily lot checks to ensure vehicles are properly parked, secured, and displayed
  • maintain accurate lot inventory and assist with inventory audits
  • organize vehicle placement to maximize lot appearance and customer accessibility
  • move vehicles safely throughout the dealership property
  • ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and presentation-ready
  • greet customers promptly and professionally
  • provide a welcoming, friendly, and helpful experience for all dealership visitors
  • pull customer vehicles around for delivery, service pickup, and appointments
  • assist customers with questions and direct them to the appropriate department
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display
  • prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for sale and delivery
  • inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation standards
  • ensure customer vehicles are returned in excellent condition following service visits
  • shuttle customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or designated locations
  • operate dealership vehicles safely and courteously
  • maintain a clean and professional shuttle vehicle environment
  • assist sales and service teams with daily operational needs
  • help maintain dealership grounds, showroom, and service areas
  • follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
