Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience
- Ability to sit, reach, grasp, stand, and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift products weighing up to 45 pounds
- Ability to operate equipment such as electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Ability to work in varying temperatures including outdoor and refrigerated environments
- Flexibility to travel within divisional requirements for training
- Full-time availability

Job Duties
- Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results
- Leads and develops store personnel
- Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results
- Oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the district manager as needed
- Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager
- Manages personnel, including recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate
- Communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, third-party vendors and business partners
- Collaborates in resolving issues within the store to minimize potential liability for the division and company
- Leads, develops, and supervises the team to develop sales, engage teams, and achieve high performance
- Understands and oversees the execution of company strategy while communicating and modeling core values
- Fosters a positive and collaborative working environment promoting teamwork
- Oversees and manages compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Trains and develops store personnel to achieve maximum professional potential
- Observes and evaluates employee work performance providing feedback and coaching
- Ensures compliance with customer service guidelines and appropriate interactions
- Resolves concerns from store personnel and customers independently or escalates as necessary
- Models and supervises compliance with company policies
- Ensures a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment
- Prepares and manages weekly schedules to ensure accuracy
- Ensures adherence to expense guidelines, inventory procedures, product handling, and cash handling policies
- Maintains store zone and merchandising standards
- Acts to improve operational results and implements plans to achieve store KPI goals and budgets
- Attends and participates in district and store meetings
- Plans and conducts store team and management meetings, training sessions, and company events
