Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience
- Ability to travel within divisional requirements
- Ability to sit, reach, grasp, stand, and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift products up to 45 pounds
- Ability to operate electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Ability to work in varying temperatures including outdoor and refrigerated environments
Job Qualifications
- Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication with direct reports
- Ability to work independently and within a team to lead store personnel
- Ability to understand and apply management principles
- Ability to perform leadership and administrative duties
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment

Job Duties
- Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results
- Leads and develops store personnel
- Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results
- Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns aligning with the district manager
- Interviews candidates and provides recommendations
- Manages personnel including recommending advancement and termination
- Communicates effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, vendors, and partners
- Collaborates to resolve store issues to minimize liability
- Leads team to develop sales, engage teams, satisfy customers, and achieve high performance
- Understands and executes company strategy while modeling core values
- Fosters positive work environment and teamwork among employees
- Manages compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Trains and develops personnel to their maximum potential
- Provides feedback and coaching on employee performance
- Ensures compliance with customer service guidelines
- Resolves personnel and customer concerns independently or escalates as needed
- Models compliance with company policies
- Ensures a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment
- Manages and revises weekly schedules for accuracy
- Enforces expense guidelines, inventory, product handling, and cash policies
- Maintains store zone and merchandising standards
- Acts to improve operational results and implements plans to meet KPIs and budgets
- Participates in and plans meetings and training sessions
