This position is for a full-time Store Associate at ALDI, with average work hours of 30 or more per week and a competitive starting wage of $19.00 per hour. In subsequent years, the wage increases incrementally to as much as $21.00 by the fifth year of employment. The Store Associate role is fundamental in creating an inviting, stocked, and well-maintained store environment that ensures customers have an exceptional shopping experience every visit.

As a Store Associate, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the retail store. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products on shelves according to detailed planograms to maximize sales potential and maintain store standards. You will also operate cash registers, handling point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and according to ALDI’s cash policies. Customer service is a critical part of this role; you will engage with customers courteously, assist with purchase queries, and provide a positive shopping environment.

Beyond customer interaction and sales, store associates are tasked with completing curbside pickup orders with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring customers can rely on ALDI for convenient shopping options. Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and organization of the store is also vital, including complying with all company policies, assisting in store loss control, and supporting management’s operational goals.

Physical demands of this role include the ability to lift and stock products up to 45 pounds, operate various store equipment such as pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers, and work in varying temperature conditions like freezers and coolers. This position calls for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within the team.
