Full-Time Store Associate

As a full-time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards that customers expect. This position, averaging 30 or more hours per week, offers a starting wage of 18 dollars per hour with scheduled wage increases over the years, reflecting ALDI's commitment to rewarding dedication and performance. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will be diverse and dynamic. You will engage in merchandising and stocking of products, ensuring shelves are neat, fully stocked, and appealing according to merchandising planograms. Attention to detail is critical as you maintain zone and merchandising standards consistently.

Your role will also include cashiering duties where you operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately. You will handle customer transactions while adhering strictly to cash policies and procedures, contributing to the store’s operational integrity. Additionally, you will assist customers directly, offering prompt, courteous service, and enhancing the shopping experience. Handling customer concerns professionally and escalating issues to store management as necessary will be part of your daily tasks.

Store Associates at ALDI also support the fulfillment of curbside pickup orders, accurately retrieving items and ensuring timely delivery to customers’ vehicles. Safety is a priority; you will assist in maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and keeping equipment properly maintained. You will perform general cleaning and upkeep to keep the store environment clean, organized, and welcoming.

Physical demands of the role include lifting and carrying products weighing up to 45 pounds, operating various store equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers, and working in different temperature zones, including freezer and cooler areas. The job requires a capacity to perform repetitive tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
