Job Description
Weavers Way is a unique not-for-profit organization that stands out by integrating community, sustainability, and commerce through its cooperative model. As a member-owned co-op rooted in the local neighborhood, Weavers Way functions on a triple bottom line philosophy: People-Planet-Profit. This guiding principle ensures that every action taken benefits the community, employees, and local vendors (People), respects and protects the environment (Planet), and sustains the co-op’s operations as a viable business (Profit). This holistic approach fosters an environment where economic activity supports social good and environmental stewardship, making Weavers Way more than just a grocery co-op but a valuable community institution dedicated to enriching lives, supporting local farmers and artisanal producers, and advancing sustainable practices. Weavers Way operates several locations with a culture deeply connected to the values of equity, inclusion, and care for the planet, aiming to keep dollars circulating within the local community and empowering over 300 local food vendors. Joining Weavers Way means becoming part of a cooperative movement that is transforming food systems and supporting fair access to wholesome, local foods. The organization emphasizes collaboration among a diverse team of staff and members, fostering growth, education, and connection among all stakeholders.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, community-oriented kitchen environment and who have a passion for culinary creativity and food sustainability.
