Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of relevant food service experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to work in high temperature and cold environments
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one-year food service or related work experience
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical capability to perform job tasks
  • Basic literacy and comprehension skills

Job Duties

  • Complete opening and closing checklists
  • Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties
  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using kitchen equipment
  • Portion food products according to standard portion sizes and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including all kitchen equipment
  • Assist in closing the kitchen following closing checklists
  • Attend scheduled meetings and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Report equipment and food quality issues
  • Follow chef and manager instructions
  • Properly store and date all food items according to procedures
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
