Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of relevant food service experience
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in high temperature and cold environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Minimum one-year food service or related work experience
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical capability to perform job tasks
- Basic literacy and comprehension skills
Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items using kitchen equipment
- Portion food products according to standard portion sizes and recipes
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including all kitchen equipment
- Assist in closing the kitchen following closing checklists
- Attend scheduled meetings and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Report equipment and food quality issues
- Follow chef and manager instructions
- Properly store and date all food items according to procedures
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
