Job Description
Hotel Clio is an exquisite luxury hotel located in Denver's vibrant Cherry Creek North shopping district. As part of the prestigious Luxury Collection, Hotel Clio offers travelers a refined and inspirational stay amidst one of Denver's most sophisticated neighborhoods. The hotel proudly features Toro Latin Kitchen & Lounge, a culinary gem that serves authentic Latin American flavors, emphasizing convivial dining with a ceviche bar, small plates, and fresh locally sourced ingredients. Beyond its fine dining and elegant accommodations, Hotel Clio serves as a beacon for discovering new experiences within the community, surrounded by boutique shopping and stunning cultural attractions just steps away from its doors.
Hotel Clio, under the umbrella of Sage Hospitality Group, takes pride in fostering a culture that values individuality, innovation, and leadership. The group seeks passionate workers who are not just looking for a job but desire to be influential leaders, driven to grow personally and professionally. Sage Hospitality champions a supportive and inspiring work environment that emphasizes human connection and happiness, making it a rewarding place for associates who are passionate about hospitality and committed to enriching lives through memorable experiences. The company embraces diversity, respect, integrity, and innovation, creating a workplace where employees feel they truly belong.
Within this luxury hotel, the available role focuses on food preparation aligned with production standards and quality expectations. The position entails preparing meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other culinary items using a variety of kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers. Candidates will ensure food portioning adheres to standard recipes and portion sizes while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment compliant with nutrition and safety regulations. Team collaboration, communication with kitchen staff, and close attention to detail are essential to success in this role.
The job requires the completion of opening and closing checklists, proper handling and storage of food items, cleanliness of kitchen stations, and adherence to operational procedures as established by the chef and management. Additionally, the role demands physical stamina, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperature conditions from freezer cold to hot kitchen environments. Excellent organizational skills, safety awareness, and a positive attitude towards coworkers and customers round out the critical attributes for a candidate to thrive in this role.
Sage Hospitality offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with health savings and flexible spending accounts. Employees also have access to basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, paid time off, participation in a 401(k) program with employer matching, and tuition reimbursement. Additional perks include employee assistance programs, significant discounts on stays at Marriott and Sage hotels, restaurant discounts, free hot meals during shifts, discounted parking, and a lucrative employee referral bonus program. This competitive and fulfilling role offers an hourly wage between $19.50 and $20.00, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking a career within a distinguished hospitality group committed to excellence and employee well-being.
