Job Requirements
- Associates must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Completion of company's training programs including food sanitation and safety
- Basic math skills for measurement and inventory
- Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months of related experience or training
- Culinary experience
- Knowledge of cooking terminology and food safety
- Ability to use kitchen equipment and knives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and write simple English correspondence
Job Duties
- Prepare products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Process and package food items
- Stock products on shelves and storage areas
- Provide customer service and respond to inquiries
- Clean work areas and maintain sanitation
- Unload stock shipments and reload salvage products
- Follow company safety and food handling protocols
