Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and friendly
  • Comfortable working with computers and able to learn new software
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license may be required
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Flexible to work additional hours with short notice
  • Customer focused, detail oriented, and interested in the airline industry
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Ability to perform under sometimes stressful conditions
  • Able to work in variable weather and environmental conditions
  • Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and judgment
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Cognitive skills to gather, analyze, and convert data into graphs and charts
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management orally and in writing
  • Self-managed and punctual
  • Typing skills of 45-50+ WPM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Prior experience in airline or baggage operations preferred
  • Ability to produce and interpret statistical data and reports
  • Comfortable working under stressful conditions
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and judgment

Job Duties

  • Work effectively as a dependable and collaborative team member
  • Provide effective, efficient, friendly service to all customers
  • Analyze tracer activity and work proactively to avoid further mishandlings
  • Compile daily statistical data for baggage performance reports
  • Update and produce complex spreadsheets of statistical data daily
  • Generate baggage performance reports
  • Prioritize tasks to maintain productivity
  • Investigate discrepancies with self-motivation and curiosity
  • Assist and provide direction to TWU Crew Chiefs and clerks during irregular operations events
  • Communicate department data to internal customers
  • Assist management in projects as needed
  • Conduct baggage operations observations and audits
  • Attend meetings with Envoy management and airport or airline representatives
