Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and friendly
- Comfortable working with computers and able to learn new software
- Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license may be required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and days off
- Flexible to work additional hours with short notice
- Customer focused, detail oriented, and interested in the airline industry
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to perform under sometimes stressful conditions
- Able to work in variable weather and environmental conditions
- Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and judgment
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Cognitive skills to gather, analyze, and convert data into graphs and charts
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with management orally and in writing
- Self-managed and punctual
- Typing skills of 45-50+ WPM
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Prior experience in airline or baggage operations preferred
- Ability to produce and interpret statistical data and reports
- Comfortable working under stressful conditions
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and judgment
Job Duties
- Work effectively as a dependable and collaborative team member
- Provide effective, efficient, friendly service to all customers
- Analyze tracer activity and work proactively to avoid further mishandlings
- Compile daily statistical data for baggage performance reports
- Update and produce complex spreadsheets of statistical data daily
- Generate baggage performance reports
- Prioritize tasks to maintain productivity
- Investigate discrepancies with self-motivation and curiosity
- Assist and provide direction to TWU Crew Chiefs and clerks during irregular operations events
- Communicate department data to internal customers
- Assist management in projects as needed
- Conduct baggage operations observations and audits
- Attend meetings with Envoy management and airport or airline representatives
