Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year cooking experience in a restaurant or senior living environment
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
Ability to perform simple arithmetic
Ability to understand measurements and conversions
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
Minimum of one year restaurant or senior living or equivalent cooking experience

Job Duties

Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times
Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary
Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required criteria, as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per policy and procedure
Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition
