Job Description

The Courville at Bedford-Carlyle is a distinguished assisted living community located in Bedford, New Hampshire. As a locally owned and operated establishment, The Courville prides itself on its commitment to providing personalized service and compassionate care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Conveniently situated across the street from the Bedford Village Inn, this community offers a small, close-knit atmosphere designed to enhance the quality of life for its residents. The Courville focuses on fostering a home-like experience while promoting dignity, respect, and independence for every individual it serves. This makes it not only a place to live but a place to truly feel at home.

The company is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper to join its care team. This full-time role features a consistent schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, working Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, totaling 37.5 hours each week. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $19 and $21, reflecting the company's investment in quality staff who play an integral role in the comfort and well-being of residents.

As a Housekeeper at The Courville, the chosen candidate will perform vital duties to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the community. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and office spaces through vacuuming, dusting, and floor washing, alongside trash removal. Additionally, the role involves laundering linens and personal resident clothing, ensuring guests always have fresh, clean items. The Housekeeper will also take care of resident plants by watering them and refilling bird seed as needed, contributing to the homely and pleasant environment cherished by residents.

Working at The Courville means joining a supportive team within a small assisted living facility that not only values service excellence but also supports its staff through competitive pay and bonus opportunities. Employees who work over 30 hours weekly become eligible for medical and dental insurance, and earned time accrual starts at 15 hours per week worked. The organization also emphasizes work-life balance, offering growth and development chances for staff who wish to advance their careers. Unique to The Courville is its scratch kitchen where a chef prepares meals for both staff and residents, fostering a sense of community through shared dining experiences.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others feel comfortable and cared for in a nurturing environment. It's an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to make a meaningful difference daily, offering a rewarding career in senior care with strong community values.
