Job Requirements

Less than 1 year of experience using a computer
Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
1 to 2 years of retail cashier experience
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Availability to work flexible shifts
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
Experience as a head cashier or supervisory role in retail
Knowledge of credit card processing, installations, add-on sales, and warranty explanation
Experience working in various retail departments
Experience detecting common signs of shoplifting

Job Duties

Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
Proactively greet and engage with customers
Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register
Provide monetary change and support to front-end cashiers
Supervise, coach, and train front-end associates
Maintain register functionality and stock supplies
Detect and report signs of shoplifting or security risks
