Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one plus years of industry baking experience or culinary school equivalent
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- reliable transportation
- availability to work weekends and early mornings
- punctuality and reliability
- ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- adherence to health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- One plus years of industry baking experience or culinary school equivalent
- experience with from-scratch baking preferred
- experience with cake decorating skills preferred
- good attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple orders and prioritize tasks
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Measure and mix ingredients for batters, doughs, icings, and fillings
- design and decorate cakes and cupcakes for both daily cafe sales and special events
- work with fondant for specialty cakes
- produce a variety of pastry products including seasonal bars, tarts, and cheesecakes
- keep up with inventory and product production pars
- execute desserts for catering and events
- stay updated with trending cake designs and contribute to new seasonal menu ideas
