Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Ability to manage up to 80 associates
- Willingness and ability to perform duties of baker, fryer, cake decorator, fresh foods clerk, and chef
- Effective supervisory and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Willingness to participate in required training including orientation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and department manager training
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds, and perform other physical tasks
- Flexibility to work in wet, humid conditions and with moving mechanical parts
- Commitment to uphold company policies and standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of HT Internet software
- Knowledge of email, inventory software, spreadsheet, and word processing programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to customer service
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English
Job Duties
- Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department
- Perform duties of baker/fryer, cake decorator, Fresh Foods clerks, and chef as needed
- Interview and train new associates
- Plan, assign, and direct work assignments
- Assist in appraising employee performance
- Reward and discipline associates accordingly
- Address complaints and resolve problems
