Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • commitment to unparalleled customer service
  • willingness and desire to advance the store's position in the community
  • ability to participate and complete required training
  • physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste or smell
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • ability to apply common sense and solve problems involving several concrete variables

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one to three years related experience and/or training
  • knowledge of HT Internet software, email, inventory, spreadsheet, and word processing software
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Job Duties

  • Manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department
  • perform duties of baker, fryer, cake decorator, Fresh Foods clerks, and chef as needed
  • interview, train, plan, assign, and direct work for associates
  • assist in performance appraisals, reward and discipline associates
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • implement company policies and ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards
