Job Description

Planned Companies is a respected provider of lifestyle and property services dedicated to enhancing the experience of tenants, guests, and vendors within residential and commercial properties in the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia area. Known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and maintaining well-presented, safe environments, Planned Companies operates through its Planned Lifestyle Services (PLS) division to offer concierge and doorman support that ensures buildings are welcoming, secure, and thoroughly managed. The company understands the importance of first impressions and the ongoing relationships built through attentive, personalized service, making it a trusted name in property management and lifestyle enhancement.

The Concierge position at Planned Companies is integral to delivering a superior welcoming experience for all who enter the properties they serve. This role is designed for motivated, courteous, and knowledgeable individuals who can act as the face of the property, setting a tone of hospitality and professionalism. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Concierge is responsible for greeting and assisting tenants, guests, and vendors, handling inquiries, and facilitating access to local amenities and services. The job offers a competitive pay rate of $22.00 to $23.50 per hour and is located in a dynamic area with a rich array of cultural, dining, and entertainment options, making knowledge of local attractions a vital component.

A Concierge at Planned Companies goes beyond basic front-desk duties; they create memorable, tailored experiences that reflect the unique lifestyles and preferences of the building's community. This includes scheduling reservations and appointments at top local restaurants, entertainment venues, and businesses, as well as organizing on-site events that foster community spirit and enjoyment. The role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently, balancing direct tenant interaction with administrative responsibilities like key and access-card management, vendor coordination, mail and delivery tracking, and telephone operation.

This position suits candidates who thrive in people-oriented roles, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a genuine desire to provide warm welcomes and proactive assistance. The physical aspect of the job includes the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, reflecting the hands-on nature of the role. Planned Companies encourages team members to contribute creatively to event planning and tenant engagement, ensuring that every service interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Embracing diversity and equality, Planned Companies promotes an inclusive workplace culture where all employees are respected and valued regardless of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time staff, as well as participation in a 401K plan with employer matching for all employees.

In summary, the Concierge role at Planned Companies offers a fulfilling career opportunity with competitive compensation, extensive benefits, and the chance to be part of a community-focused company that values exceptional service and employee development within the real estate lifestyle services industry.
