As a Full-Time Concierge at Waltonwood, you will play a vital role as the frontline ambassador of our community. Working from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, this position is essential in creating the first and last impression for residents, visitors, and staff. The Concierge provides exceptional customer service and administrative support to community leadership, contributing significantly to the smooth operation of daily activities. Duties include greeting and directing individuals, answering internal and external calls, handling inquiries, and assisting with various requests to improve the overall resident experience. The role demands maintaining safety, security, and emergency protocols to ensure a secure environment for all.

In addition to serving as the social hub within the community, Concierges build meaningful connections with residents and their families through daily interactions. They act as the backbone of the Administrative Department, supporting various departments and advocating for residents’ needs effectively. The position requires a dedicated, friendly attitude combined with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service and clerical experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Knowledge of multiple phone line operations and phone etiquette
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, squatting, lifting up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and proper phone etiquette

Job Duties

  • Greet residents, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer internal and external telephone calls promptly and professionally
  • Apply safety, security, and emergency procedures effectively
  • Monitor and control building access and following check-in/out procedures
  • Maintain updated resident rosters and manage daily resident charges
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to department heads, business office manager, and executive director
  • Keep the front desk organized, neat, and clean
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by the business office manager
