This establishment is well-known for combining compassionate care with a high standard of amenities, ensuring that every resident enjoys a vibrant, dignified life. As a community-focused organization, Brompton Heights places a strong emphasis on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, where residents feel valued and nurtured. With a blend of professional care and home-like comfort, the facility offers a range of services tailored to the diverse needs of seniors, promoting their health, happiness, and overall well-being.

We are currently seeking a skilled Line Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a culinary professional who is passionate about creating delicious, nutritious meals in a supportive and positive work environment. At Brompton Heights, the role is designed with manageable hours, offering shifts from 6am to 2pm or 11am to 7pm, so our team members avoid late-night kitchen hours. As a Line Cook/Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of a wide variety of dishes, including salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items. Your focus will be on delivering restaurant-quality meals that are nutritionally balanced and attractively presented, all in service of providing the best food and dining experience for our residents.

This position values not only culinary expertise but also an understanding of special diets and nutritional guidelines specific to senior populations. Attention to detail in portion control, food safety, cooking times, and temperature regulation are essential to meet both quality and health standards. Additionally, the ability to estimate food quantities accurately, minimize waste by utilizing leftovers effectively, and serve meals that are both appealing and appetizing are key components of this role. At Brompton Heights, we believe that great food contributes significantly to the quality of life, and we seek a culinary professional who shares that vision and is committed to excellence in every dish prepared.

Joining the Brompton Heights team means becoming part of a community that values your skills and contributions. We offer competitive pay that reflects your experience, along with biannual pay increases to reward your dedication. In addition, our employees enjoy unique benefits such as the Dayforce Wallet, which allows flexible and convenient access to earned wages, and exclusive hotel employee discounts. The facility fosters a supportive work environment where your culinary talents will be appreciated and your professional growth encouraged. If you are ready to bring your cooking passion and expertise to a place where your work truly makes a difference, we encourage you to apply today and become part of the Brompton Heights family.
