The role of a Cashier, internally known as Front End Team Member, is vital in shaping the customer experience at the front lines of our store. As a Cashier, you will be the face of the company to our customers, responsible for processing sales transactions quickly and accurately while ensuring a positive and personalized shopping experience. This includes greeting customers warmly, engaging with them to build rapport, answering inquiries about products, and promoting our loyalty programs. In addition to cashier duties, you may also serve in versatile roles such as sales assistant or merchandiser/stock associate, contributing to the overall operations of the store.

Your responsibilities include managing payments, verifying identification as required, and bagging merchandise, all while maintaining the store’s safety and cleanliness standards. It is essential that you comply with all laws and regulations concerning the sale of alcohol to maintain a safe and legally compliant environment. Training will be provided on wine, spirits, and beer to ensure you build strong product knowledge. This role requires flexibility, as shifts may include evenings and weekends to meet business demands. While the position can be seasonal, often lasting no longer than six months, there are opportunities to apply for permanent roles within the company. Being physically able to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy items is important to succeed in this position.
