Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid state driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations or accidents in past 12 months
- At least 18 years of age
- Food Handler certificate preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to use radio communication
- Background check clearance
- Availability for flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous delivery and customer service experience preferred
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to use radio communication
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment preferred
- Food Handler certificate from the County of San Diego preferred
Job Duties
- Safely drives a company vehicle to make pick-ups and deliveries
- Assists warehouse in retrieving appropriate products for operations
- Delivers requested materials to food areas including picking up parts for delivery
- Operates a forklift to move materials and unload vehicles
- Receives pick-ups and verifies orders against invoices
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Assists in stocking products delivered
- Assists in removal and disposal of old equipment and retrieval of recyclables
- Complies with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws
- Performs other duties as assigned
