Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months coffee related experience in service industry
- Must maintain unexpired TABC Certification and Food Handler Certification
- Certificates, licenses, and/or identification cards as required by the U.S. Department of Justice to verify employment eligibility
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and sister property staff
- Ability to create documents in Excel and Word
- Ability to understand property management system and point of sale software
- Ability to apply concepts of math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos and verbal instruction
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and adhere to dress code policies, wearing the Jo's uniform and closed toe shoes
- Play music appropriate for the community, including being aware of inappropriate music choices
- Respect fellow employees, customers and the work environment
- Check patrons' identification to ensure age requirements for alcoholic beverage consumption
- Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients
- Take orders from patrons for food or beverage and prepare items to specification
- Gain knowledge of the point of sale (POS) system so that each transaction performed is accurate
- Restock items using the First-in, First-out (FIFO) system
- Check invoices for accuracy as deliveries arrive
- Clean during and at the end of each shift according to assigned side-work
- Ensure open lines of communication with all departments and upper management
- Communicate time-off requests and confirm schedule with management
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
- Maintain awareness of safety issues throughout the property
- Keep abreast of safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements
- Give excellent customer service to each patron
