Job Requirements
- Availability on weekends
- Holiday availability including Thanksgiving weekend
- Ability to stand and walk frequently during shifts
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry items up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to obtain California Food Handlers Card within 30 days if not already held
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Genuine love of coffee
- 1+ year of café experience preferred
- Active California Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Commitment to continuous learning

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve espresso, matcha, craft drinks, and pour-over coffee to the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Engage with guests in a way that is warm, knowledgeable, and unhurried, answering questions about our sourcing, roasting philosophy, and seasonal offerings
- Keep the bar and other stations clean, organized, and running smoothly during service
- Dial in grinders and calibrate espresso throughout the day to maintain quality as conditions change
- Work collaboratively with your team to create a café environment that feels welcoming to everyone
- Participate in regular tastings, trainings, and menu education as we roll out new offerings
