Job Requirements

Associates must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds
Physical capability to reach from 6-72 inches
Ability to use hands for handling and feeling
Good vision including close vision, color, and depth perception
Willingness to participate in required training
Ability to work in environments exposed to hot, cool, and extreme cold temperatures
Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals
Ability to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months related experience and/or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
Ability to write simple correspondence in English
Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
Basic mathematical skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
Completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge

Job Duties

Bake products according to standards
Process, package, and stock fresh foods products according to fresh foods standards
Clean work areas to maintain sanitation and safety
Provide customer service by assisting and responding to customer inquiries
Unload stock and organize deliveries
Reload salvage items to minimize waste
Participate in required training and team activities
