Job Duties
- assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
- establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports
- identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports
- understands and communicates company strategies and core values
- monitors competitive environment and informs the direct leader
- provides product feedback and recommendations
- participates in the interviewing process for store personnel
- communicates weekly information and team milestones
- ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies
- resolves operational customer concerns in the direct leader's absence
- identifies and rectifies hazards and maintains store equipment
- maintains store cleanliness and proper signage
- assists with maintaining stock levels through product ordering
- merchandises products neatly to maximize sales
- ensures product quality, freshness, and signage accuracy
- assists with payroll and loss budgets, inventory counts, and training new employees
- supervises day-to-day team operations and escalates issues as needed
- ensures direct reports complete responsibilities timely and effectively
- complies with company policies and confidentiality requirements
