As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager by overseeing key daily activities that ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. This full-time position involves supervising the store team, managing schedules, and driving operational success. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $27.00 per hour with a wage increase to $28.00 per hour in the second year, reflecting the company’s recognition of your growing expertise and contributions. Working approximately 38 hours per week, you will be expected to handle physical demands such as stocking merchandise, lifting items up to 45 pounds, and performing routine tasks including cash control, merchandising, and quality control of products.

This dynamic role also includes responsibilities such as assisting with hiring processes, handling customer concerns in the absence of the store leader, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience

  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage budgets and understand expense control
  • Experience with inventory management and merchandising
  • Proficient in handling cash registers and store operations
  • Ability to maintain safety and cleanliness standards
  • Skilled in problem-solving and customer service
