Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at varied heights
- ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store regularly
- ability to safely operate electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- excellent communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- meet any state and local legal requirements for the role
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience
- prior management experience preferred
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- strong customer service leadership skills

- ability to interpret and apply company policies
- skills in goal-setting and employee performance management
- ability to evaluate and drive personal and team performance

Job Duties
- Assist direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
- establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
- identify training and development opportunities for team members
- understand and model company strategy and core values to foster teamwork
- monitor competitive environment and inform leadership
- provide product feedback and recommendations
- participate in interviewing store personnel
- communicate weekly updates, milestones, and concerns
- ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash control policies
- resolve operational customer concerns in leader's absence
- identify and rectify hazards, maintain store equipment
- maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
- assist with product ordering and maintain proper stock levels
- merchandise products neatly to maximize sales
- ensure product quality, freshness, and accurate signage
- assist with payroll, loss budget, inventory counts, and new employee training
- supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues appropriately
- ensure timely and effective completion of responsibilities by direct reports
- comply with company policies and uphold document confidentiality
- perform other duties as assigned
