The Assistant Store Manager role at ALDI is a full-time position requiring an average of 38 hours per week, with a starting wage of $27.50 per hour, increasing to $28.50 per hour in the second year. This position plays a critical role in supervising daily store operations and supporting the Store Manager to ensure the store meets its performance goals. Responsibilities include developing and implementing operational action plans, managing employee schedules, identifying training needs, and fostering a positive team environment aligned with the company’s core values. The Assistant Store Manager acts as a key leader to maintain efficient store functions, address customer concerns, uphold inventory and cash control procedures, and promote a safe and clean shopping atmosphere. This role demands a proactive, organized leader who can support staff development, enhance customer service experiences, and contribute to the store's overall success.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience
prior management experience preferred
ability to work independently and within a team

Job Duties

Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
