Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
- commitment to unparalleled customer service
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- knowledge of HT Internet, e-mail, inventory, spreadsheet, and word processing software
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American money and measurements
- ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions
- completion of company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and department manager training
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste, smell
- occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch
- ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department
- assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation
- perform supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates
- address complaints and resolve problems
- perform duties of baker/fryer, cake decorator, Fresh Foods clerks, and chef as needed
- participate in training and team orientation to increase customer satisfaction and sales
