- be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays
- be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- be able to stay on feet for long periods
- be able to read, write, and speak English
- be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Job Duties
- greet residents by name and take meal orders
- answer questions about the menu
- serve meals and beverages to residents and guests
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room
- assist with special events and catered functions as needed
- provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents
- ensure smooth operation during service hours
