Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • clean and neat appearance
  • good personal hygiene
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • compliance with company policies and procedures
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • restaurant experience is a plus
  • ability to communicate fluently with guests
  • courteous and enthusiastic communication style
  • ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • effective problem-solving abilities with guests
  • ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
  • explain menu offerings and specials
  • recommend seasonal menu items and suggest additional items
  • remember regular guests' names and orders
  • coordinate with kitchen staff for special food preparations
  • ensure timely and proper delivery of orders with garnishes and sauces
  • keep guests informed about order status
  • execute proper placement of dishes and serving procedures
  • engage guests in conversation to enhance experience
  • anticipate guest needs and provide condiments, water, tea refills
  • perform quality check backs and respond to requests or complaints
  • present check and process payments
  • assist bussers and other servers during busy periods
  • maintain cleanliness and safety in the dining area
  • perform opening and closing duties for dining room and workstations
