Wood-N-Tap is a well-established full-service restaurant brand that has been delighting guests since 2002. Founded by a group of four friends with unique backgrounds and skill sets, Wood-N-Tap quickly became one of Hartford's most popular dining destinations, starting with its flagship location. Over the years, the brand has expanded significantly, now operating 10 locations across Connecticut and one in West Springfield, MA. Wood-N-Tap is currently expanding and seeking passionate and experienced Full Service Restaurant Managers for its new Groton location as well as other restaurants in Connecticut and West Springfield, Massachusetts. This managerial role offers the chance to lead operations at a high-volume, full-service restaurant known for its award-winning food and beverage program. The position focuses on maintaining exceptional standards in guest service, staff development, and operational efficiency. As a Restaurant Manager at Wood-N-Tap, you will oversee daily operations including inventory and purchasing, staff hiring and training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with food safety and liquor laws. You will play a key role in driving sales growth and profitability by fostering a fun and safe work environment aligned with company core values. Job Requirements
- Proven management experience in a full service restaurant setting
- Certification in food safety and sanitation
- Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service

Job Duties
- Oversee and maintain a high-quality food and beverage program
- Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hiring of hourly employees
- Set weekly schedules and assign tasks before, during, and after restaurant open hours
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions
- Implement contests and incentives to create a fun, safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and liquor laws
- Perform purchasing and inventory management duties efficiently
