The Driver role at Delek US Holdings is integral to maintaining the company’s reputation for safe and efficient product delivery. This position is designated as exempt under the Operations job family, focusing on transportation duties at a Skilled II level. The primary responsibility is to safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver various commercial products, strictly adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and ensuring all safety protocols are followed meticulously.

The Driver's daily tasks include receiving delivery schedules from the Truck Dispatcher, organizing efficient delivery routes, and conducting thorough pre-trip inspections of tank trucks in line with DOT safety specifications. These inspections ensure that vehicles are fully operational and compliant before departure. During delivery, the driver operates tank trucks or tractor-trailers to transport fuels and products directly to customer locations, managing the physical tasks of connecting hoses, opening valves, reading gauges, and documenting delivery quantities. Maintaining excellent customer service through clear communication and responsiveness to inquiries is an essential part of the role.

Safety remains the cornerstone of all operations, with drivers required to follow all company policies, traffic laws, and DOT regulations while operating vehicles in various weather conditions. Physical stamina is necessary as this job involves lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing steps, bending, stooping, and sitting for extended periods. Drivers must maintain valid Class A Commercial Driver's Licenses and pass all relevant safety requirements.
