Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a current driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience in truck driving or logistics preferred
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to work in cold climate on regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to use hands and feet to operate machinery and company vehicle
- Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Effective communication in English
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, manual and electrical loading dock lifts, truck rail gates, forklifts
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing conditions quickly
Job Duties
- Treat people fairly, consistently, and with respect
- Ensure efficient, informative, and friendly service according to established customer service vision and standards
- Prepare and load truck for deliveries
- Secure cargo for transit
- Drive truck to destination
- Unload truck and check in with store receivers
- Complete deliveries on schedule
- Follow all traffic laws and drive in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain truck logs
- Maintain telephone contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
- Report all damage and broken equipment upon onset of condition
- Maintain vehicle in a clean, neat and sanitary condition, wash as needed
- Inspect and maintain truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water
- Assist with product ordering and other related paperwork
- Merchandise product at locations and/or wholesale accounts
- Assist with light maintenance and janitorial duties at Outpost’s locations
- Adjust to changing conditions to facilitate the delivery of products to customers
- Assist Receiving Coordinator when necessary
- Stocking and merchandising of products
- Abide by all Coop policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company documents
- Keep store/office orderly and clean
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager
