The available role is that of a Server within the dining services team at The Highlands. As a Server, the individual will play an integral role in ensuring that meal service to senior residents is both pleasant and efficient. The position requires attention to detail and a high level of interpersonal skill to communicate effectively with senior residents and team members. Key responsibilities include assisting in setting up the dining area, taking and serving food orders appropriately, delivering trays upon request, and bus tables and trays to maintain a clean and organized dining environment. The Server will also assist with food and beverage preparation, including pouring and covering beverages and food as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and proper function of kitchen and dining equipment is also essential to the role. The Server must adhere to strict infection control procedures related to food service and follow all safety policies of the facility. Presenting a neat and professional appearance in line with dress code requirements is mandatory. Working cooperatively with other dining associates to produce an efficient and pleasant dining operation, demonstrating reliability by working scheduled shifts dependably, and a willingness to perform additional duties as necessary are critical attributes for success in this position. Beyond essential duties, the Server may also support resident-centered activity programs and participate in departmental meetings and educational sessions to continually improve service quality. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to meet the demands of the position. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED at a minimum
- Ability to communicate by speaking, seeing, and hearing

- Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon hire
