The role of Floor Manager at United Legwear & Apparel Co., based at the Bloomingdale’s concession, is pivotal to sustaining ULAC’s reputation for excellent customer service and operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • Experience as a floor supervisor or keyholder or in a similar retail management role preferably in fashion
  • strong leadership and team management abilities
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • open availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings nights weekends and holidays based on business needs
  • analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies

  • maximize sales potential by ensuring the team delivers all requirements of trainings
  • ensure team demonstrates GOTFAT with enthusiasm and consistency
  • display excellent understanding of local and customer profiles and shopping behaviors to deliver effective sales environment in partnership with management
  • consistently interpret location performance to support plans and KPIs
  • drive the team to achieve location’s performance plans
  • drive awareness of brand promotions marketing activity and campaigns to the team and customers
  • promote the use of database building and clienteling to achieve location's B-Connected performance
  • build and maintain strong commercial awareness of competitors and local markets communicating findings to management
  • assist with managing controllable elements of store's profit and loss budgets
  • analyze tools to convey commercial understanding identifying opportunities to improve location performance
  • confidently deliver daily operations in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
  • proactively complete and delegate tasks correctly and on time following company policy and procedures
  • communicate effectively with management providing feedback on completed tasks and highlighting issues
  • adhere to and support company health and safety procedures using equipment properly and reporting unsafe conditions
  • follow loss prevention measures protecting company assets by reporting misuse or theft
  • handle cash accurately and resolve discrepancies as outlined by host store
  • support management team in executing communications and directives
