The role of a Day Porter at PMM Companies is integral to maintaining the pristine condition of the properties under their care. This position requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can work from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Effective communication in English is necessary to coordinate tasks and respond to tenant or building management requests professionally. The Day Porter will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties including vacuuming and buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash receptacles and replacing trash can liners. Beyond typical janitorial responsibilities, the role involves using cleaning solutions and equipment such as steam cleaners and buffers, applying wax and sealants to floors, and providing light maintenance such as changing light bulbs. Attention to detail, physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role.
