Job Duties
- Operate the dish machine including scraping, soaking, stacking, and racking soiled dishes, glasses, utensils, and service wares
- Return cleaned and sanitized service wares to appropriate storage areas
- Keep all equipment clean, sanitized, and organized
- Remove refuse generated in the dietary department including bagged refuse and recyclable cardboard
- Maintain department floors by sweeping, mopping, and scheduled stripping
- Assist cooks with washing pots and pans
- Clean work areas according to schedules and assignments
- Provide support to other dining rooms and special programs as needed
- Assist chef with preparing and/or dishing desserts, garnishing plates, and delivering room service trays
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Attend and participate in required in-services per federal, state, and company policies
