Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- six months or more of related experience preferred
- ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- ability to report and record maintenance requests
- knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment
- understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use

Job Duties
- Perform routine janitorial duties across the entire facility
- ensure the YMCA is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule
- maintain upkeep of assigned area and equipment
- operate related motorized and non-motorized equipment
- record and report all needed repairs and repair as directed
- ensure YMCA building and property are secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
- replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies
- complete assigned YMCA online training upon date of hire and periodically thereafter
- may set up furniture for events
- perform other duties as assigned
