With stewardship over more than 15,000 senior living units nationwide, Discovery Management Group strives for operational excellence while fostering personalized lifestyles and culture-driven leadership within its communities. The organization is part of one of the largest senior living families in the U.S. and has received Great Place to Work certifications consecutively from 2022 through 2027. This recognition underscores the company’s dedication to creating fulfilling work environments that empower employees and prioritize resident satisfaction. At Discovery Management Group, the pursuit of purpose and growth goes hand in hand, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional development opportunities that help team members build meaningful careers.

The Culinary Services Supervisor role at Discovery Villages West End offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being and enrichment of senior residents by crafting memorable dining experiences. As a supervisor, your responsibilities will include overseeing the dining room operations, leading and mentoring the dining services team, and ensuring that every meal service is executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. This full-time position demands flexibility in scheduling, with an emphasis on evenings, nights, and weekends to align with dining service hours.

You will prepare staff schedules, allocate tasks such as table assignments and closing duties, and ensure all team members comply with uniform, food safety, and customer service standards. Training team members on service protocols, operating procedures, and menu knowledge is an essential part of your leadership duties.

Your focus on operational efficiency within budget constraints will support the delivery of superior dining services, while fostering meaningful resident engagement during meals. Ensuring the highest levels of food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and compliance with relevant health regulations is paramount to this role. Daily operations include monitoring food presentation, temperature, and portion control, providing feedback to the kitchen team, and supporting servers as needed. Accuracy in resident meal accounts, upkeep of dining room layouts and table setups, and recording daily sales transactions will also be part of your responsibilities.

Discovery Management Group offers an exceptional work culture grounded in core values such as teamwork, integrity, accountability, compassion, hard work, creativity, and performance. The company recognizes the importance of embracing change to continuously innovate and improve both resident experiences and team member work environments.
