Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One to two years experience in a public contact role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
Exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for at least eight hours
Ability to lift minimum 50 lbs
Able to pass pour test regularly
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
Ability to respond quickly to situations
Able to work both indoors and outdoors
Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
Team-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift
Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations
Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes

Job Duties

Prepares and services beverages for servers and guests in a quick, efficient and friendly manner
Provides exceptional customer service to all guests
Ensures that guests are served in accordance to state and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol
Performs proper cash, comp, and check control procedures
Takes inventory of the bar on a regular basis
Provides guests with accurate information about the restaurant and property as well as entertainment offered in each as needed
Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate guest and team members needs when the opportunity arises
Communicates with management, and service staff immediately to rectify any and all guest needs and requests
Ensures work area is in compliance with the Florida health codes at all times
Follows the company inventory control requirements
Must be able to pass pour test on a regular basis
Keeps all stations stocked by polishing and distributing china, glassware, and silverware
Responsible for taking guests orders for in room dining
Understand the operational set up and principle of the hotel pool, lounge, and bar
Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel
Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
