We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience working in a resort, fine dining establishment, or a similar professional kitchen setting. This position plays a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring dishes are crafted according to standardized recipes with consistent portion size, quality, and presentation. The Line Cook will operate cooking tools safely and efficiently, complete necessary prep work for daily kitchen operations, and maintain inventory awareness by notifying supervisors of low-stock items and receiving deliveries. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety guidelines is essential in this role. Our Line Cook will also provide support with dishwashing or assisting other kitchen tasks as needed, respond promptly to guest requests, and represent the company professionally at all times.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive hourly wage of $17 per hour. Candidates must be able to work both day and night shifts including weekends, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic. Job Duties

  • Prepare meals in accordance with standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in portion size, quality, and presentation
  • practice proper knife skills and utilize standard cooking tools with efficiency and safety
  • complete daily prep tasks and ensure readiness for the following day’s operations
  • monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor of low-stock items
  • assist with receiving deliveries and conducting inventory counts
  • maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen in accordance with local health regulations and company standards
  • report any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance needs to supervisor immediately
  • support kitchen operations by assisting with dishwashing or other tasks as needed
  • respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring follow-through for complete satisfaction
  • represent the company professionally through proper attire, grooming, and conduct
  • adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • perform additional duties as assigned by the chef, supervisor, or management team
