Job Requirements
- always follows proper health code requirements food rotation labeling and sanitation practices
- minimum 1-2 years cooking experience in a full service restaurant serving in prep grill or fry cook positions
- responsible for prepping cooking and maintaining kitchen and serving food timely per management
- assume responsibility for quality of products served
- know and comply consistently with standard portion sizes cooking methods quality standards and kitchen rules policies and procedures
- stock and maintain sufficient food product levels at line stations
- maintain clean and sanitary work station areas including tables shelves grills broilers fryers convection ovens flat top ranges and refrigeration
- prepare items for grilling frying or other cooking methods by portioning battering breading seasoning or marinating
- handle store and rotate all products properly
- assist in food prep assignments during off peak periods
- close kitchen properly following closing checklist
- perform other related duties as assigned by management
- comfortable working with a team in a fast paced kitchen environment
- accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes helpful
- ability to work on feet for 8 or more hours a day
- must be able to lift at least 40 pounds regularly

Job Duties
- cook meats fish and other hot food products accurately and efficiently
- prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
- perform food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing
- prepare appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
- maintain clean and sanitary work station areas including grills broilers fryers ovens and refrigeration
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
- close kitchen properly following closing checklist
- perform other related duties as assigned by management
