Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in dietary or food service departments preferred
  • Ability to work full time in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

Job Qualifications

  • Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in family style dining or restaurant environments showcasing high quality food presentation and service experiences
  • Strong background in food preparation cooking techniques frying and food handling practices within the food industry
  • Skilled in knife handling meal preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Knowledge of menu planning catering and serving operations adds value to culinary expertise
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of fried foods with precision and consistency following established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functioning properly
  • Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
  • Assist in menu planning by providing input on popular dishes and ingredient needs
  • Support overall food preparation activities including chopping seasoning and assembling ingredients for frying
  • Ensure timely cooking of orders to meet customer expectations for freshness and quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and maintain a smooth workflow
