Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in dietary or food service departments preferred
- Ability to work full time in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
Job Qualifications
- Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable
- Experience in family style dining or restaurant environments showcasing high quality food presentation and service experiences
- Strong background in food preparation cooking techniques frying and food handling practices within the food industry
- Skilled in knife handling meal preparation and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Knowledge of menu planning catering and serving operations adds value to culinary expertise
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of fried foods with precision and consistency following established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functioning properly
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on popular dishes and ingredient needs
- Support overall food preparation activities including chopping seasoning and assembling ingredients for frying
- Ensure timely cooking of orders to meet customer expectations for freshness and quality
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and maintain a smooth workflow
